Uniforms
Anyone have the low down on what CMU will be wearing VS Toledo tonight? I saw on CMU basketball twitter that they "will be sporting something a little different"
Going black for hoops too??

Boy was I ever "fooled" by the "big secret" uniform unveiling for tonight! What is SO SPECIAL about wearing our road maroon uniforms at home?

Probably just trying to change their luck... didn't work.  They need to try every combination possible until they find one they can shoot better wearing. |

Our colors are maroon and gold! Sick of seeing all the teams wearing black whose colors are not black.

I TOTALLY agree, black is not nor has it been one of our colors for at least as far back as I can remember.

eveyone is going to gray now, CMU was the trendsetter back in the day with some success too lets give those bad boys a try again!!!

I'm fine with it as an occasional alternate uniform (unlike the Broncos that have adopted it as a primary color). Fisher wore the black helmet in the senior bowl, obviously it resonates with the players.

Yes, imitating us (and everyone else for that matter) will not put butts in the seats. I'd stick with the ketchup and mustard, although I must say the huge number of fatties I see at your game look better in black than in lighter colors |

With a less than .500 all time MAC FB record, it appears the color of the donkeys' uniforms make very little difference!

Sounds like abandoning tradition to me. Maybe when navy blue is the hot color WMU will change again, if the marketers say so.

Onward to the brown and gold right? Well if it's abandoning tradition why do you roll out black uniforms in football and basketball and use it as a marketing tool to draw fans in? Ketchup and mustard sell well in the grocery department, not so much in licensed apparel.
