BracketBuster Game
CMU will face Youngstown State in this year's ESPN BracketBusters game on Saturday, February 23. The game will be played at YSU, and the Penguins will make a return visit to Mount Pleasant next season.
FYI, this is the final year ESPN is doing the BracketBusters event.

can cmu say thanks but no thanks on the return trip, i mean seriously, we have limited home games as it is and we play usually 1 or 2 teams not even in 1-a.

Youngstown State, plays at the same level as us in Hoops, the other status is for football only! And, with our recent hoops history they might just be thinking the same about us.

I saw Coach Kampe at Oakland was really pulling for us to play them. I thought that would have been a awesome matchup since we never get a chance to play them. Oh well.

I would like us to schedule either Oakland or Detroit. Oakland is not as good as they normally are this year, not sure what to expect next year. We would probably not match up well with Detroit unless we got some more size and somebody who could defend Ray McCallum. It would be nice to see more in-stage matchups.

Why on earth would you want to play either of those teams? UDM would beat you by 40 and Oakland wouldn't be much closer. Bender is a three point machine, and their front line his huge. Even Youngstown is 13-9, hardly a push over. |
