Dear Absentee Moderator, aka Beat Western. Let me help you out. WMU is a ******* moron who has had his 15 minutes of fame. Either seal is ass out of here or I'm cutting my subscription to this site run amuck.
The moderator, yes you, plays verbal kiss ass with this piece of dipshit. Then dipshit decides it's his rules or he'll call everyone names. Then he proceeds to lie about who he is, what bullshit he has pulled in the past, how many times he has been banned from here, and what his real purpose of "visiting" is all about.
BEATWESTERN: You're either a CMU fan, or your not. Lock him out or I'm cutting off the funds. Your choice.

A10, you just handed CD a HUGE victory in calling for him to be banned.
He is a classic troll, and a very skilled one to boot, people calling him names, calling for him to be banned, in short losing their cool, is what he wants. His goal is to take over threads and take people down a rabbit hole to his version of a Mad Hatter's tea party.
No matter how well you or anyone responds, even with a retort to end all retorts, he wins. It's like playing chess with a pigeon- - it knocks over the pieces, defecates on the board, and then flies back to its flock to brag about how it won.
The best way to deal with him is to ignore him. Starve the beast, my man.

See, this is what happens when you give up 28 in the fourth quarter to your arch rival. You give them a reason to crawl out from under their rocks and show their face in the daylight. I say we take our medicine and damn well better beat them next fall.

Here's a portion of a PM I sent a few minutes ago to one of our frequent posters.
I'm serious about checking out. I respect BW for his service to our country, but I won't pay or stay on a site that he operates in such a careless manner. He is absent for months, his inside information is more often wrong than right, and he seems to care less about CMU than he does his old bronco pal. That's not me. I'm loyal, lippy, and passionate about CMU.
I will not stay here. BW & Dan can hug and kiss each other here all they want, but I don't have to read it. In fact, I don't have to support it financially either. Pigshit doesn't win. He doesn't understand winning. BW loses.
As for the rest of you, your decisions are just that. I will wish you all the best and see you on campus next fall. Or you can venture over to TOS once in awhile to chat. You can banter all you want. The mods are responsive, constantly contact commits, do their research, and post articles. They openly discuss, agree or not, CMU issues and points of view. They laugh at and with you. They bleed Maroon and Gold. They respond to questions and if they don't have the info they will go and get it.
I have the time to research, seek CMU info, and post. I'm not going to contribute my efforts to this site simply because it has been around the longest.
BW has a decision to make. I've made mine.

I have two other points I would like to list regarding the recent activities of this site; 1. A few months back I received an email solicitation asking if I would be interested in owning/operating a Central Michigan University sports site. The email was from Scout. (I searched my hotmail account so I could cut and paste, but I no longer have it.) I don't know if that solicitation was about this specific site, or another CMU sports site. 2. Prior to that we all were informed that FOX Sports had purchased the Scout.com network and was in the process of integrating Scout into the FOX network. Issues arose about billing, access, and whether this specific site would continue to function. Thinking about these two point, in conjunction with the recent public posting of friendliness between Tom (BW) and Dan (Chipdip/WMU55), and the seeming willingness of BW to chose WMU55 over his customer/Chippewas fans makes me wonder.
