I do not care if he goes as Narduzzi's assistant. Please Cincy, make a bad decision and take Enos off our hands.

Re: Breaking News - Dan Enos interviewing at Cincinnati
Hmmm...is there a reason why this story doesn't seem to be anywhere on the Morning Sun's website?
What IS out there is a pretty scathing opinion piece by Paul Daugherty on Butch Jones' exit to Tennessee on the Cincinnati Enquirer's website.

Narduzzi is reportedly interviewing, per the Detroit papers. I suspect this was an attempt at humor/ wishful thinking on someone's part.

It's the nature of the beast, but Jones did shop himself around more than the others did. And the next school had more $$$ to offer. Jones would absolutely have taken the Colorado job if Strong didn't turn it down. Although Jones wasn't Tennessee's 1st choice, he is sitting pretty nice with a 6-year $18 million deal. Represent the "T".

The players are the ones who are left high and dry. I feel bad for Big John Williams, he got stood up twice.

RE: Breaking News - Dan Enos interviewing at Cincinnati
He "shopped himself around" more because he was one of the more sought after coaches. It's not like these schools were interviewing him at his own request. Paul Daugherty can whine like a little brat all he wants, at the end of the day, he's crying about the same thing that happened here three years ago, but he's on the receiving end this time and now suddenly has a problem with it. It was all fine and dandy when you're the one doing the poaching.

Represent the "T". What a freaking whiny writer this guy is. Coaches are in a no win situation. You get pissed that they where "phony" and never meant what they said or you get pissed if they didn't say the right things. This writer is saying Butch pretty much lied and never cared about UC. He always had one foot out the door and never meant anything he said. These coaches aren't students, this is their job. Every person wants to get to the top, and sorry, Cincinnati is no where near the top just like CMU isn't. All you can ask is that your coach is all in for his team, that they give everything they have to to the program they coach at that time. There's no doubt Butch did that at CMU and from the sour grapes it sounds like he did at UC as well. The sooner all the UC fans realize they are not a destination job the easier their lives will be. Be happy that you had 2 good coaches come through and take the program to new heights and hope that you can do it a 3rd time. This writer is acting like Butch personally kicked him in the nuts and stole his money on his way out. He came there won 2 conference titles and got a chance to move onto a better job, in a better conference, and earn more money. I'm sure if Sports Illustrated called this guy up tomorrow he'd be more than willing to listen to their offer.

Butch was the most sought after coach in the country and he spoke very highly of CMU in the press conference.Class guy.Family first.Loves his players.Won 4 championships 6 years.

Re: Breaking News - Dan Enos interviewing at Cincinnati
TomhawkChip - are Your attempt at humor is sick. I think this sends an entirely wrong signal to the team while they are preparing for a bowl; and to any prospective recruits contemplating attending CMU on a football scholarship. Obviously you don't like the coach, but don't harm the program with your attempted humor during such a crucial time. There are some who may not have seen through your BS.
