Well, we all thought it would be close and it was. I remember saying I felt it was too close to call. Anyway, it's a win and these games at the end of the season count just as much as those at the beginning. The only problem is with such a poor start the team has lost its fan support. There aren't many of us around to take some pleasure in these wins against poor teams at the end.

I still support the kids (I know you do too) that are playing their a$$e$ off with barely more than pride on the line. It's the coach that has lost MY support. Speaking only for myself, though. Like I said, all wins are good wins. Similarly, any loss is a bad loss.

It's unlikely but we can still win out and become bowl eligible. Nice win after spotting them a 14-0 lead. Could have packed it in right there but we battled hard and came away with the win.

Ugly win, but if you say the kids are playing their a$$es off, that has to be at least a little nod to the coaching staff. If you are old enough to remember the DeBord days, when we just quit!

In my opinion, the more games we win, the more likely chance there is that Enos stays. I'm not going to offer my thoughts on the possibility of him staying, but it's something to keep in mind. I'm personally glad we won. Our guys needed this one bad. They played hard all game and came out in top. Not sure where Flory came from, but glad he stepped up.

A win in Ypsi is never an easy task for us for some reason but it is always nice getting out of the monument to concrete they call a stadium with a W. How that program remains FBS is beyond me.

Sad, that if we beat UMass, we will have 5 wins, 4 against terrible teams ands that is progress and we keep a coaching staff that needs to go, man have we hit bottom! Always nice to win , but this game had some of the stuff that's been driving me crazy all season. A fake FG that went for a TD and another total coverage breakdown that resulted in another wide open TD for the opponent. Apparently CMU's players are easy to confuse. |
