Everyone OK?

I heard that Jonesboro had quite a blow this afternoon with a storm. I checked on the family. One tree down on my dad's shop but nothing major. I hope all of you weathered the storm in good fashion.

We lost a fan and familiar face from around the Convo today. Tom Sanford was fatally injured by a fallen tree on his home during the storm.

So sorry to hear of the loss of a life. My sister and family live in Vilonia and I've been up there most every weekend since that disaster. Stuff can be fixed but the loss of life is the hardest burden to bear. Prayers for his family.

This hurts me personally, he was a good friend to my grandparents and I.

After seeing the photos of flying four wheelers, train derailing, trucks flipping over it's amazing more people weren't hurt.

NEVER let "just good enough" be acceptable for A-State again!

Officer Sanford was TRUELY one of the nicest men I've ever known! I met him in 1985, while attending ASU and always made it a point to find him at the football and basketball games just to say hello, when i returned to ASU events! He was a nice man with a big heart for people and ASU, he will TRUELY be missed!
RIP my friend! Your family is in our prayers!

Not a bigger Red Wolf fan out there than Tom. I've known him since the 80s. Wonderful person. Rest in peace my friend. ASU should dedicate the first football game to his memory.

Planes flipping over doesn't surprise me, they are designed to lift up when air moves over them at a fast enough speed.

It flew 30 feet in the air before landing. That's what surprised me.

It was our turn in central Arkansas today. Trees down, roofs damaged. Thank the Lord we didn't have any deaths. That's enough of this nonsense.
