I'd like to have the division clinched by Sunday.

Today's game was finally postponed. The game will be made up tomorrow at 6:35 PM, while tommorow's scheduled game will be moved from 2:35 PM to 12:35 PM. It will be a day/night doubleheader.

Is Adams done for the year or is expected to heal and only out for a projected amount of time?

Re: Angels @ Rangers Series Thread
I suppose that is good news for the bullpen-and it is.
Regardless I didn't trust him last year and still don't despite his record this year. He is about one step up from Feldman imo. Perhaps Thursday's 3 HR inning was an aberration instigated by his injury. Hopefully that's it and he'll return to this year's "form".
We'll see.

Adams could be done for the year depending on what his final diagnosis is. He is suspected of having Thoracic Outlet Syndrome- which I have never heard of. Apparently several rangers have had it. The condition is where a rib presses a nerve bundle and impacts their movement. THe rib must be removed to alleviate the pressure.

If Joe Nathan blows Game 1 then I'm going to be sick.

Re: Angels @ Rangers Series Thread
This team has lost focus. Can't hit with RISP, the bullpen can't hold a lead, rallies killed by boneheaded base running mistakes, no plate discipline etc....... I'm not sure what's going on but if we don't turn it around, its one and done in the playoffs.

It is also possible that they simply do not have it this year given the injuries that continue to mount on them. Regardles this is a very frustrating series at the worst possible time.

Re: Angels @ Rangers Series Thread
The Rangers are pissing the division away as we type. A doubleheader sweep is inevitable.

Seems like Holland- strange bird that he can be is starting to get a grip on his control. Let's see what happens from here since their bats have started to come back a bit. For the record though I agree. I've felt like that since the A's series. THey've hung in there but not put anyone away- still. Very frustrating.

At least Napoli is in his typical late season form.

Re: Angels @ Rangers Series Thread
With a win tonight, the Rangers clinch at least a Wild Card spot. I'd still rather take the division.
