I hope all you Cardinal fans enjoyed your little run last year..

...because it won't happen again.

Despite losing Prince, the Brewers are better this year than they were last year, when they won 96 games and took the NL central with ease.

Yes, I know there is some typo's in my blog above.  I'm a radio guy, not a blogger.

Your St. Louis Cardinals are significantly worse this year now with Carp out indefinitely.

This year, the Brewers will be back in the NLCS, but the results will be far different.

I will say this though, after this year, The Brewers are going to be in a bit of trouble, so this is going to have to be the year.

Sorry Cards fan.  I hope you enjoyed your lucky run last year, because that's the last decent run you will ever see.

#1 question is do you even know anything about baseball?

I would go out on a limb and say no

Your team is ALOT worse than last year to jr, and the Cards are still going to win the Central....

Brewers are just a punk of punks who the Cards put in their place last year in the post season, so go ahead and expect more of that this year.

I recognize this guy from Twitter.  I don't follow him, but some Cards fans have retweeted his extremely ugly tweets about the Cardinals and their fans.  He got very sexually graphic with one female Cardinal fan, it was really quite disgusting.

Thank you for your interest in St. Louis Cardinals baseball, the gold standard of the National League.

Surely you can expand on that and tell me why the Brewers are "ALOT" worse than last year, right?  Sort of how I broke down in lengthy reason on why they are better than last year?

Or do you not know anything bout baseball?

I would go out on a limb and say no.

Now why would any decent baseball fan say something like this? Come on, show some class and dignity, splappy.

Who knows how 2012 will play out. If we stay relatively healthy, we should compete. Same with Milwuakee. Maybe even Cincy too. But you just never can tell.

And try to pick up that maturity level a bit next time you post on our site.

Dude you are a clown. I find it hard to believe you are any type of radio personality considering your ignorance of baseball. Your team highly over achieved last year as the Cards showed in the playoffs. Actually Milwaukee was barely in the series and was by far St.Louis easiest test last year in the "little run" This did not surprise me as i said all year what a fraud i thought the Crew was. Prince is the best hitter to ever wear that uniform and now he is gone. I find your post to be one of the funniest things i have seen in a while. Good luck getting to .500 and you should probably stop drinking the bong water. Thanks for the laugh! eek1eek1eek1

You took his comment that he was a radio personality? I took it as that he's a fan of sports talk radio. I probably have more air time as a "personality" than he does. Of course, he probably has me beat by miles in the call in airtime.

It honestly makes me a little sad that you are, in all probability, not a child....

your "lengthy" analysis includes a broken link to a blog and the fact that chris carpenter is having health issues. Fielder plays every game, ARAM is hurt half the time and beginning his decline....if you get lucky with his health I can see the brewers being a 90 win team...besides 3B I dont see any significant upgrades with your club.

How about losing Saito and Hawkins? The fact that Hart cannot stay healthy and Marcums injuries? Oh yeah and there is no way to replace Fielder. I honestly think this is a .500 team if they stay healthy. St.Louis fans are not worried about that team at all.

GO CARDS!

Re: I hope all you Cardinal fans enjoyed your little run last

Ha! Funny,
I love when people post such things, pounding their chest, declaring this and that, as if their statement makes something so.

Probably the most amusing part is the subject line referencing our "little run". Yeah, that's all it was...a little run. Nevermind that it was something of historical significance. And that's just the end of the regular season. Then there was the postseason, going through Philly, Milwaukee, and Texas? Brilliant. But to this guy, it was just a "little run".

As far as I saw, the only point you make for your Brewers being better is...well, there weren't really any arguments or reasons. You just claim that you will be better than last year, even though you lost one of your two best players. Well, you see, we can do the same thing...it doesn't really matter than we lost Pujols, we will still be better than last year. See how that works?

Any number of us here on this board could walk you through why we will still be competitive, and why we have reason to believe that we are the favorites to win the Central again this year, but the truth is it would be a waste of time and energy because you're just going to spout off some ridiculous homer nonsense.

In the grand scheme of things, we laugh at people like you, partially because you want so badly to be the Cardinals' main rival, but that just ain't happening. There's a smidgen of a rivalry there, but there are a few things preventing it from becoming anything more. #1) The fact is you guys haven't been good enough for long enough. When you're a dominant organization for decades, you tend to compare your team to other dominant organizations. That will never be the Brewers. #2) You are too far down the list behind other legitimate Cardinal rivals. There's the Cubs (despite being terrible for so long), the Reds, and even the Astros who have had a strong rivalry with the Cards. Heck, even non-division rivalries have been stronger...there's the Dodgers from years ago, along with the Pondscum...even the Royals are probably ahead of you!

So crawl back in your hole and wait for your Brewers to actually do something in the postseason for a couple years before you spout off at the lip.

I don't know Diz, he fits a "radio personality" to a tee, especially a sports talk radio guy. Obnoxious and whiny.

I think maybe my favorite part of this is, it's coming from a Brewers fan. A fan of a team that has been to the playoffs twice since 1983 and a team that just lost one of their top two hitters.

I see no way that Milwaukee will be better than they were last year. Aramis, even when healthy, is not a Prince esque hitter.

And apparently you did not watch the team last year because Carpenter wasn't really that "significant" until the second half. If you were to consider Kyle Lohse the #1 starter, then the Cardinals #1 starter already has the same amount of wins as Carpenter had for the first two and a half months of 2011. Carp was 1-7 with a 4.47 ERA on June 18th.

You need to look at your own people as far as the maturity level goes.

I stated reasons and facts to back up my claim.

The rebuttals in this thread consist of "YOUR A DUMB BREWER FAN" and what not.

"Prince is the best hitter to ever wear that uniform and now he is gone."

Prince was the 2nd best player on the team, next to, you know, the NL MVP?

No one else worth a lick?  Yeah, Greinke, Gallardo, Weeks, Ramirez, Hart, Axford....all bums.

- Greinke lead the league in k/9 last year
- both Gallardo and Greinke had over 200K's
- Weeks was out for 2 months and still hit 20HR's
- Hart missed a month and a half and still hit 29 HR's
- Marcum lead MLB in road ERA
- Axford had 43 saves in a row (without a blown save) and was 2nd in the NL in saves behind the ROTY Kimbrel
- Ramirez won the silver slugger award last year batting .306 with 26 bombs.  He's consistent with numbers like that year after year.
- A-Gonz is a HUGE upgrade at SS over Yuni B defensively

oh, yeah, and, again...the whole MVP guy...

but, you're right,. Prince was the only hitter worth a lick on the team.

The irony in any of you saying I don't know anything about baseball is ridiculous.

Enjoy looking up to the Brewers all year fella's (and ladies if there are any here).
