As somebody said, they were hoping that we'd get at least one of three in Baltimore.  I remember agreeing with that at the time in my mind.  Here's to hoping Lynn can continue to pitch well and keep the Orioles in the crackerbox ballpark.

Cardinals batted in the "cracker box" ball park the last two days also.

If Adams doesn't swing the bat any better than yesterday, he probably needs a couple days off. He was 0 for 5 and 0 for 3 with runners in scoring positions.

Yeah. He seems tentative up there for some reason.

I like Lynn to keep them in the park today. His heavy ball is hard to square up and he gives up few long balls. Cardinals should be embarrassed by their play the last two days. They are just unwatchable at times and the amount of games in which they have not shown up is concerning to me. It is not the losses but the pitiful effort that bothers me. Lets hope we get the Dr. Jekyll Cardinals today instead of Hyde b/c if they come out like the last two days they will get more of the same. Baltimore is legit. Calling this one 6-5 good Birds.

This is a good example of how the little things just kill this team all year. In a game they should be up 5-0 they will be lucky to be ahead after 1 inning. What are they thinking sending Adams on that fly? Just stupidity and not knowing the situation i guess. The right side of the infield cost Lynn there IMO. Routine grounder goes through the black hole between SS and 3rd base once again and then D-day is not covering third as Jones over runs the base. Just poor play that inning. Lynn deserved better IMO.

I know it's been asked before, but it's worth repeating now. How does Descalso have a major league contact worth over a million dollars?

I will answer this since i think i was the last hold out defending D-day on this board. The like his professionalism, his tough AB's, versatility and i am guessing we will see Daniel as a coach in this organization some day in the future. That being said he has been horrible offensively and defensivly this season and in fact going back to the second half last year as well. Tough AB's matter little when you are hitting below .200 and versatility means little when you can't play any of the positions WELL. I have defended his roster spot in the past but i am so over that, he simply has not earned it this year. I would still dump Ellis before him but they both have little value in my opinion.

Don't get so mad Bucky...the guy only had the ball for a split second. Correct reversal.
