Re: Minor league thread: Fri 7/4

Got to get this off my chest:  When does Thomas Pham get included in the argument with our OF proxpects for a promotion to St. Louis?

He's quietly (VERY) cobbled together a .900+ OPS in Memphis.  Surely the Japanese leagues would be interested if Mo isn't...

EDIT:  Grammar

I too would love to see Pham get his deserved shot.

A Japanese deal without at least  big league cup of coffee is very rare.

Just think, there were a few posters on here who wanted to just release Pham around 2 months ago.

He may have considerable trade value.

I can't be too critical of anyone suggesting that as we need developmental space for our outfielders at the top levels.  And still do.  As much as I'd like to have Stanton, high level OF'ers would have to be included from our end of the trade to not increase our congestion/constipation.

I understand that we would need to relieve some of the congestion.  I don't understand why we would have just released him.  He may not be 20-21 years old but he has a very high ceiling.  He has lost almost 3 years to injuries.
