WONG HAS BRUISED SHOULDER
Cardinals infielder Kolten Wong was prescribed inactivity for several days after receiving an anti-inflammatory injection in his left shoulder. An MRI had shown swelling and irritation within the shoulder and what a team official described as a bruise near the cuff. Wong injured the shoulder earlier this month and attempted to play through the soreness but eventually surrendered to it because he couldn’t complete his swings. Matheny said the MRI did not show any structural damage beyond the bruising. The Cardinals intend to re-evaluate his status when they return from this road trip.http://www.stltoday.com/sports...c22b9a4ce4.htmlSounds like they will look into Wong after the road trip.
