I'm off due to snow out East today, but don't see a TV listing for this one. I thought all but maybe one ST game was televised; is this the one not on TV?

Looking forward to Kid Kelly continuing the battle for Garcia's starting rotation spot.

I'm listening to the Detroit radio feed, so if anyone wants me to post updates, I will.

Nor yesterday - even though MLB Network was supposed to, and the cable guide showed it, in both yesterday morning's replay of the Marlins-Cards game and last night's replay of the Mets-Cards game, MLB Network chose to show filler ("Ten Best Catchers in MLB Right Now", 1965 World Series highlights, etc.) instead.

Most irritating.

Tigers radio color man says Bourjos might be the fastest player in CF that he has ever seen.

Nice! He should fit in well in the 2-spot, especially if he can provide some power.

I think each park has an in-house camera so perhaps MLB Tonight will show the HR.

Based on the description by the Tigers radio guys, it was not a bad exchange between the former teammates. I bet writers will ask Smyly about it after the game.

I'd give an update, but this half inning may not be over until tomorrow.

Tigers broadcasters said the radar gun is turned on, but it got stuck on 96. Apparently that was a Kelly fastball.

When I read what I wrote about the "exchange", I knew that people would take it as a negative.  The Tigers announcers clearly didn't make it sound bad.  It sounded as if it was banter between ex-teammates.

As for this inning, Kelly has walked two and V. Martinez has driven in the tying run.  Kelly has thrown a lot of pitches.

Re: Spring training game #4 - Cards at Tigers - Mon 3/3

Kelly walks Kinsler on 4 straight pitches.  Hard lineout to CF by Hunter. Kinsler steals second.  Walks Cabrera (Tigers announcers say ball 3 looked like strike 3).  Single by VMart, Kinsler scores to tie the game.  Strikes out Avila.  Single by Jackson, Cabrera scores. Castellanos lines out to 1B

Sounds like Kelly is struggling.  Two walks, getting hit hard.

Tigers lead 2-1
