It's all Matt Holliday's fault.

Yeah, Holliday is from Oklahoma so it has to be his fault.

Besides, who cares about the weather anyway???

I don't judge based on caliber of pitcher.  The Cards MO seems to be play well against the good pitchers (Kershaw, Cain, Bumgarner, Shields, Gallardo) and play awful against lesser pitchers (Luis Mendoza, Chad Gaudin, Jason Marquis).  Nowadays I look forward to the tough pitchers and groan when we play against scrubs.

Those who leave Thursday around 6pm from Lambert. Game getting rained out while not the end of the world would leave me pressed for time Thursday.

It was coming down steady in Springfield Mo. About an hour ago.

The main line of weather is about 175 miles out, with scattered storms out ahead popping up on radar and dissipating.

Maybe in about an hour crdswmn can let us know if it packs a punch.

Hope Wacha doesn't get foiled again.

I'll keep an eye out.  It's cloudy, but so far, nothing wet.

Holy Smoly! I don't know if I'm at The Weather channel or The Cardinal Nation around here? You guys are making Rat a very happy man with all of this extensive weather chat. Anybody know what the game time barometric pressure is forecast to be sitting at?

Should we do PBP tonight?

Indded, he struck out the maximum....no you can whiff more than 3 batters in a frame. My guess is that 5 K's in an inning is the record. Does anyone know the particulars?

MCarp plates the first Redbird run of the evening via a long sac fly to center off the bat of CNH's favorite player, Matt Holliday. Carpenter tripled to lead off the game.

5 Ks in an inning has happened a couple times in minor league games but never in an MLB game.

One of the Niekros got 5 in a ST game, due to the catcher being unable to catch the knuckler.
