The 25-man and 40-man roster moves have not yet been announced. My guesses are Blazek down and Garcia to the 60-day DL.

Re: ?

Unless vehement objections abound, Ducky and your's truly will be calling all of the action for Michael Wacha's maiden ML performance tonight. Hate to say it, but I'm calling this one 5-4 Royals on the strength of a 3-run Butler jack.

Its my understanding rain is forecast throughout alot of the midwest.  What are the chances Wacha's debut gets washed out by Mother Nature?  Is rain forecast for the St. Louis area today/tonight?

I'm convinced of one thing. Rat will not be satisfied until The Cardinal Nation comes across the most prolific posting maniac in it's storied existence.... and he/she just happens to be a Meteorologist.

It doesn't work for Rat though, Crdswmn. He wants someone to look it up for him and.....somebody usually ambles on by and does it for him. Rat has been doing it successfully around here for years now.

I sort of figure there is someone closer to the St. Louis area than i am that might be able to give a first hand account.  I dont put 100% faith in The Weather Channel or Yahoo/Weather forecasts.

Dont we have a poster on here that actually lives in or around the St. Louis area?

Trust me when I tell you that the local weather is not infallible.  Most local weather get their information from the same place Weather.com does.

What the weather is like in St. Louis at noon is not indicative of what it will be at 7:15 tonight.

Oh, and the St. Louis weather stations have websites too.  What a concept.

Gale force winds are the primary factor behind Pugs' prediction of a Billy Butler 3 run jack in tonight's game. It would have been an infield fly, but in an embarrassing moment for the umpires, as they signal the infield fly rule and call Butler out, the ball continues to carry and eventually hits the top of the wall and goes over.

The umps reverse their call, sending Matheny into a rage resulting in his ejection.

I just moved back to Houston RB. When in Illinois i live in the Grenville area about 70 miles east of St.Louis. There are others that live in the city though i believe.

Funny! Sweet forecast, MAP! You know I saw a weathergal on the tele the other day who could get away with saying just "60%" for her entire 5 minute weather segment....yet still earn great ratings. Something tells me that MAP, as cool a dude as he is, couldn't pull that off. I urge all newcomers to be wary of Rat's weather requests. Some people have foot fetishes....some horde unGodly useless items....well Rat gets his jollies by having others fetch him weather reports.....100% serious here.
