Molina is expected to play some 1B in the WBC, so this is prep time for him.

I wouldn't get too used to seeing Taveras in that 6 hole.

I guess Piscotty has officially given up being a 3Bman?

This is Wigginton's first appearance at 3B this spring, I think.  Will be interesting to see if he has anything left there.

My guess is below-average range, but sure-handed when he gets to the ball. I imagine he can still throw across the diamond.

Given he is 0-for-10 with two GIDPs, I'd like to see him start hitting a bit. As blingboy pointed out yesterday, he couldn't get a runner home from 3rd with one out and snuffed another rally with a GIDP. It is still very early, but he hasn't shown anything yet with the bat.

Is any of you posters at the "B" game? Or have any details thus far?

Thank you

Yep, a two-year contract is pretty secure.

My guess is if all goes well he might play 20 games at 3rd. He may get more reps in the of than inf barring any injuries at the corners

Stanton takes an extra base against Oscar on a play that should have been a double and Brantly singled him in with two outs. Fish go on top quickly, 1-0 in T1st.

Matheny should just sit his butt on the bench like they did in Springfield when he pulled that crap.

Should have also mentioned that Cruz saved what would have been a run later when he threw out Juan Pierre trying to steal second.

After two walks and HBP, Molina's RBI single followed by Taveras grand slam just over the RF wall turns game into 5-1 Cards lead.
