MLB.TV prices for 2013

Though this was briefly discussed in the midst of another thread, I think it warrants its own topic. MLB has just announced its 2013 MLB.TV prices (for mobile and connected devices, not cable or satellite). They look to be the same as last year. The basic offering is $109.99 and the Premium is $129.99. The latter includes the At-Bat subscription and other benefits.

Details here.

P.S. It says over 150 spring training games are included, but they are not mentioned specifically yet, as most clubs have yet to announce their TV plans.

$130 for premium seems steep to me. Wish they would knock $30 off both prices really.

i think its fair. If you live in another state with no access, then 162 games plus spring training and access to other teams, is pretty good for $129.

did i misread the link above, or is a viewer unable to get both home/away feeds with the simple package?  moving to vermont this spring and would like to get the package, but the only part of the premium that appeals to me is the home/away feeds.

any info on this would be much appreciated.

after looking again, it seems to be no guarantee of cards tv or radio announcers without purchasing the premium.  i suppose mike shannon is worth the extra 20 bucks!!!

Yes, I believe to get home and away feeds you need premium. This is the first year they are offering the radio simulcast with the video. Some will really go for that.

Looks like the discount will again be available this year for Minor League TV (MiLB.TV) when you buy MLB.TV. Last year, it was half price - $40 down to $20.

In 2012, Memphis and Springfield were on regularly. Anyone remember if Peoria had broadcasts last year?

I'm a MLB.TV subscriber, but I'd like some clarification on a "mlb-tv club".  Do you mean you split the cost and share the ID?  If so, do  you divide out the schedule as to who sees which game, or does MLB.TV not care if more than one person is signed into an ID at the same time?  Thanks.

The later. Although it's most likely not that they don't care. I think the key is to just share your ID info with only a few that you can trust not to give it out to a bunch of people....if that happens I think you'll get nabbed. What they do after that, I have no idea, Beachvol.
