So someone posted the insider article in its entirety at another website.  Am I allowed to repost that here or link to that website?

Copying anyone's articles (subscriber or not) in their entirety should not be allowed anywhere. Certainly it is not here. A link to the original source and summary of content is always fine. However, as a provider of premium content myself, I prefer we not participate in others improperly reposting subscriber content.

Re: ESPN farm rankings

Law's blurb about the Cards included this line:

There are at least five guys in the Cardinals' system -- if we include Tyrell Jenkins, who's coming off a shoulder injury --

Did Jenkins have a true shoulder injury?

He made 19 starts, 4th most on the team.

I also thought his injury was just a torn lateral muscle.

I browsed the internet a bit and found this blurb from your (Brian's) early invite link:

Tyrell Jenkins is already rehabbing in Jupiter

How is his rehab going?

Nope. I picked up a cold at Winter Warm-Up that I haven't been able to shake since. Thanks for asking, though...

Law posted his NL team top 10s today. (subscribers)

After the five above, his #6-#10 are:

Jenkins
Wacha
Adams
C Kelly
A Garcia

I like the names, though Jenkins above Wacha was a bit of surprise. Law did not address that in his writeup.

ESPN has updated its future power rankings. Buster Olney, Jim Bowden and Keith Law rank each of the 30 organizations based on five current and future categories: majors, minors, finance, management and mobility. The Cardinals are #1. The article is for ESPN insiders.

You would think I would remember, but...when was the last time the Cards had a prospect ranked second in a prominent list of prospects?  Did Drew or Ankiel get that high?

Drew and Ankiel were #1 and #2 on the BA list in 1999. Ankiel was #1 in 2000.

Thanks, Brian.  I'd forgotten about that 1 & 2 ranking.  I'm getting old.
