There's no way that I would consider Garcia's CEILING to be a utility infielder.  That's his floor for me.

His ceiling isn't much higher, say that of Descalso or an average starting SS/2B, but it is significant enough I think.

Don't see how that is relevant. I did not suggest that Garcia could not reach the majors. But my rankings are not about making the majors - yes/no. It is about having the longest, most productive career once there. In my opinion there are more players with a better chance at that compared to Garcia than some others think. We will see down the line...

Brian, thanks for the exchange.  Your comment...."It is about having the longest, most productive career once there"....gives me a clearer understanding of your thinking.  Personally, I was looking at these prospects and thinking who can make it to the major leagues and contribute, be it as a starting position player, starting pitcher, short-relief, long-relief, utility-player, etc.  Not sure how all the others on this board were rating players. Thanks again.
