Top 10 brawls on MLB Network

I only saw the top 6 but we check in at #5 for the brawl in 2010 with the Reds. Ahh the memories!

#1 was in 84 between Padres and Braves where 2 bench clearing scuffles happened. It was ugly as fans got involved twice. Pedro slamming Zimmer was 3.

I saw that. Seems like the Red sox or the  Reds were in almost every brawl in the top 10. Cardinals V Reds kick boxing match was around #5.

Two all out brawls in one game....now that's what I call a true doubleheader. Seeing these donnybrooks once again brings back such fond memories. It truly amazes me that Cooperstown has yet to construct a special wing commemorating some of these historic fisticuff games. I bet they would far and away be the most popular wings at The Hall. I'm thinking they could even bring some of these dueling teams back for Round 2 for an encore performance, 25 or 30 years later ....maybe as a warm-up act at the annual Hall of Fame Olde Timers Game?

Maybe the cardinals can do it with their hof. #2 would be Tino and Bautista on Easter Sunday.

Good one, Booyah. I think a fellow like Robin Ventura would give his left arm to get a rematch with Nolan Ryan. If you're going to charge on out to the mound to engage in battle, you gosh darn better know you're going to kick butt....or at least look good trying. How Robin can look at himself in the mirror every morning is mind boggling. Sure, being a good fighter isn't everything, but getting lassoed and tattooed in front of so many people is simply unimaginable. Most of us guys when we were kids got our arses kicked at least once in some back alley. Luckily the event only occurred in front of a few other guys....and not in front of any members of the fairer sex.....and certainly the cameras weren't rolling! I have probably seen the Ryan-Ventura lambasting at least a 1000 times. Anytime that I'm feeling blue I simply toss in the Ryan-Ventura tape and think to myself " Whew! Things could be worse...I could be that guy(Ventura)"....and then I'm good to go. Yeah, I know the cat has mega-bucks...but still! Tell you what. If I would have been Ventura, I would not have stopped trying to kick Ryan's keester until I finally accomplished the feat. And not at some airport or restaurant where the cameras weren't flashing. Every time that I stepped into the box against Ryan, after he threw the very first pitch, I'd be charging out to that mound like some crazed bull to duke it out with Mr. No-Hitter....I wouldn't care if his pitch was 3 feet outside. Eventually I'd catch him on an off day and I sure would make him pay a price for it.
