Valera was so impressive this Spring I was shocked he didn't start at QC. He succeeded in Batavia and showed off his skillset. I haven't seen anyone better in the Minors going 1st to 3rd or from the batters box to 3rd.
Personally, I've become very intrigued by Valera skill-set and recently jumped on the bandwagon. Their was a reason this kid led the NY-Penn-League in total hits can flat out barrel everything from both sides of the plate and theirs a reason scouts have rated his speed as an 80-grade. Would like to see him continue the success with a full season club next year.
