Me too.  Their offense is stellar, but I just doubt they have to pitching win it all.  Heck, I think the A's might still win the division.

Pujols isn't dead to me.  Gave tons of great memories and will be remembered as a Cardinal all time great.  He just got woo'd by a sweet talker and given a boatload.  Moreno stroked his ego like a college recruiting trip.  Mo and DeWitt just treated it like a business decision and used that to try to convince Pujols that they couldn't afford what he wanted.

That is well put. I think in the end it comes down to the dollars. I wonder how many pay raises these people have turned down in their lives?

Hamilton might see a bit of a decline in his power production going from Arlington to Anaheim, but when he's on he can practically carry a team.

The Angels are built to win in the next two or three years. After that, they'll be paying a ton for a couple of years for Pujols and Hamilton and could be getting little value in return. And of course Pujols' deal will keep going awhile. At least they cut Hamilton's to half the time.
