Used gloves are absolutely welcome. (They are already broken in!) In fact, I am planning a trip to hit the area Goodwill, Salvation Armys, thrift marts, etc. to collect as much used leather as I can find.

Looks like MLB.com has just picked up this story. This should be in the Cards top 20 stories of 2012 since the idea came to fruition this year.

Don't you mean give him a "glove", Bling? Of course this is not the case, but what if this nice fellow Albitz was in fact a glovedamaniac and would stop at nothing in his quest to horde baseball gloves? A year from now Selig's security team raids this fellow's home and they find like 3000 gloves.
