That's great to hear.  One of the things on my bucket list is to see a Springfield game in person.

When you see the words "bucket" and "Springfield" in the same sentence, it usually refers to where the once great game of basketball was invented. That being in the year 1891 in Springfield, Mass by one, James Bartholomew Naismith, who also invented the football helmet.

Just to be fair to the "other" Springfield, my kids were most impressed with the National Basketball Hall of Fame. It had nothing to do with the exhibits, Bob Cousy or Magic Johnson. They have a moving sidewalk from which you can shoot at a series of baskets as you pass by. Know your audience, they say...

I live about 30 minutes from there.  Springfield, MA is also the hometown of Theodore Geisel.

The HOF is shaped like a basketball...
