We've also been lucky enough to have won 11 world series and play in 6 since 1968. Winning 3 of those.

Sure the meltdowns have been epic but we've had our share of exciting moments to say the least.

Great question and I'm not coming up with anything. One thing in common was all four teams basically got shut down offensively in the final 3 games, although in '68 we did score 3 runs in game 5.

Also each series featured at least one blowout game among the final 3 losses.

other teams mention the entire franchise when talking about how we are lucky, as if we have no bad luck at all and all success based off good luck.

my point was to dispute that ideal they try and make.

Luck plays a huge part  in this game.

Getting hot at the right time also plays a huge part in this game.

The Giants are lucky that they got hot at the right time.
