All of Scout.com is moving over to a new hosting platform that will deliver a much better reading/viewing/content experience. However, it appears they hit the wrong buttons (perhaps a number of times) in trying to make that move happen. They promise they're working on it, and will have the content back just as soon as possible.

I don't think there will be consensus on that opinion.  I was on the new site and posted some comments on the format.  The homepage is just bad......huge side bars (I expect there for a home for ads), basically only one article...actually primarily a picture...little text, have to navigate to see anything more that the one focus piece.  It is nice to get pathing to the FoxSports site and to MiLB site......but not at the expense of an inferior MadFriars which is why we are all here.

Just hope the site did not lose some of our participants...don't see many logged in.

Its a long and arduous process. And I appreciate everyone hanging in there. The sidebars are supposed to be populated with content I am putting up but those sidebars are not updating properly. It is frustrating on all sides. I have been trying for the better part of a week to get more features installed and the interface is not nearly as intuitive as it once was, sadly. And I still have no idea where the individual player pages are so I can see how that migration actually happened. Its pissing me off. So if it is pissing me off, I can only imagine how much it is angering you fine folks.

Anyway, we are supposed to hear some direction from the folks over at Fox today on a new strategy for deployment. I will relay this information when it arrives.

Serious question,can't these things be done offline until all the bugs are worked out and "then" put online?
At least the Padres season is over....if not...I would have NOT been happy(well,more unhappy).
