On the Farm
Not sure if there is a thread for this already, so sorry if I overlooked something.....
Antonelli and Huffman were called up to SA ........
Does anyone know if this will allow Blanks to start playing LF fulltime now ? I know that Huffman was kinda blocking him out there, but this move should change that shouldn't it ??? Blanks looks like he could be a stud in the very near future for us in the OF....big big boy with a great stick, and some speed for his size

Re: On the Farm
Could we get a sticky on this? We use to have a "Down on the Farm" thread stickied and it was good for updates instead of always having to go to the minor league board. So Dre, any chance on a sticky?

Ty Cobb had it right....go in spikes high and they'll move

Re: On the Farm
Agreed, as I already mentioned Dre, you don't always want to go back and fourth. The minor league board is good for more in depth info but if we could sticky this it would be great for updates and player movement. More people might actually see it!

I'm cool with that...just want to make sure people get around to the other great parts of MadFriars.

Re: On the Farm
You seen any of Simon Castro's box scores yet, Not? I admit, it's not pretty, but it seems he can't avoid "the big inning"...and it's usually a case of walking guy and putting them on. He "looks" (I only follow online) really good for about 2-3 innings and then falls apart.
It's a slow process obviously, but I'm still excited about this guy's prospects in the Padres system.

Re: On the Farm
I have been paying attention and have been dissapointed, but obviously he is very raw. I am much more excited about Latos last incredible outing and can't wait till he throws again. McBryde is also looking stellar.

Re: On the Farm
FYI--
Antonelli picked up a bloop single in his first AA at bat. Then later was picked off second.

Bouncing all over creation is just something some wish to avoid if they can........and look at the responses to this thread already........looks like many like the idea of having it in their MAIN forum........ edit: Yeah....thank you for stickying this, and good work on suggesting it be stickied

Re: On the Farm
Sup ya'll. I'm new to the forum, but not scout.com.
I work at a Fort Wayne newspaper and often cover the Wizards. I like to scour here and read the stories and message boards because it sometimes helps with perspective for my stories.
If you have questions about some of these guys, I can do my best to answer them for you.

Ya I actually do have a question, how has Hunter looked in CF defensively, and how does his arm rate?

Re: On the Farm
Antonelli goes 3 for 4 tonight with a BB and is now 5 for 7 with 2 BB's in his first 2 AA games. Keep it up!
