Re: Mr. Kalas RIP
I'm heartbroken...it will be sickening trying to watch the game today without him calling the action. My prayers go out to his family, his fellow broadcasters, and the greater Phillies family. They just played his call of our world series win on 610 and I have been crying like a baby....

Re: Mr. Kalas RIP
I wasn't a fan of his work with the Phillies (thought he was a big time homer). But he did a lot of work for the NFL over the years and has been a long term voice of the Phillies. It's a sad day in Philly sports and I know a lot of people I work with who just heard are very upset.
RIP Harry Kalas you will be missed in more ways than one

RE: Mr. Kalas RIP
This is a very sad day...I grew up with him calling the Phillies games. I am soooo happy he got to witness a World Series last year.

RE: Mr. Kalas RIP
Very, very sad news. He's an absolute icon in Philadelphia, and this a big loss for both baseball and football fans as a whole. RIP "Harry the K".

Glad that we could hear one last "OUTTA HERE!" call on the Matt Stairs bomb yesterday.
RIP, Harry.

Braves fan here, sorry to hear this news. Harry was a great announcer. We lost Skip last year, and it's still tough to believe.
Thoughts and prayers.

RIP Harry Kalas. What a voice. He was from my hometown of Naperville, IL, a White Sox fan and a great man. RIP, Mr. NFL Films.

RE: Mr. Kalas RIP
What unbelievably sobering news. He's right up there with Ernie Harwell and Vin Scully in the Top 3 baseball broadcasters that I have ever heard in my lifetime. Just an all-time unquestioned great, without a doubt and also great on NFL Films. Baseball is worse off for his passing. Sorry for the loss Philly fans.
