RBI singles by Sogard and Jaso, and solo HR's by Cespy and Moss. Very nice!

Those back to backs were nice. Moss crushed that ball.

Cespy leaving the game, I hope he is just sick or something minor. We cannot lose him and make a run at the west in my opinion the club is much different without him even if he's not locked in.

For sure, I don't want him lost for more than a game hoping for the best.

Also is it just me or do A.J. and Chris Griffin look alike? I'm glad he looks like himself again tonight so far.

At this point, the A's regular first baseman, Moss, is playing CF.  Speaks volume of Moss, but troubling.

Yeah yet another reason Peterson should have gotten the call up over Barton he can play a good first base and in the outfield.

Speaking of Barton he just got on good for him but I don't recall seeing a ball bounce into a hitter for a HBP.

#Athletics say Cespedes left the game because of a "stomach illness."

Not sure Soggie should swing away with a runner on second and no outs, bunt him over so Jaso can get him in with an out there ? Nice shot from Norris scores Barton from first.

A's don't get Norris across, way too much of that going on this year. I know we are up and looking good but the Rangers can strike quick, I don't like how the weakish hitters ( Sogard, Jaso, Reddick, Rosie, Barton, Taylor ect ) are green lighted to swing away so much this season.

Griffin is BA. Loving this game. A few W against Texas would go a long way

Taylor looks so over matched, it's hard to believe he hits in Sacramento season after season.

I recall him talking about it two or three years ago, he's a very smart guy and was thinking about using his Stanford education instead of staying in the minors.

I wish he could get traded somewhere and play every day to see if he could get things dialed in at the MLB level, hard to believe he's the end result of the Holiday trades.

Doolittle not Cook is the heir apparent to the closer's roll in my mind when Grant is no longer that guy for us.

Slow bat.  You can get away with that at AAA.

Still, the way he falls apart at the MLB level, seems to indicate there is a mental component there also.
