That was a great play by Cespy. Glad he didn't seem to hurt himself.

Parker still with a one-hitter but skating on really thin ice. Cespy's grab immediately followed by a near upper-deck foul ball. Glad to see Neshek and Blevins up in the pen. But I'm encouraged with Jarrod's overall pitching tonight.

Awesome play! ... but Cespedes scares me everytime he hits the ground.

Not sure (I'm not up to date on my Daric Barton supporters/haters list), but I think that was sarcasm.

BTW...

Great catch by Cespedes!

Really Parker?  The only hit allowed is a 3-2 two out two run opposite field bomb?

Mossman!

Ok this is my first WTF Bob Melvin moment of the season.  Raul Ibanez is the tying run and you let Parker face him?  When Doolittle didn't pitch Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, or Friday and threw 3 pitches on Wednesday?

Re: 5/11 seamen and the athletics

I question Doolittle throwing an off speed pitch with 2 strikes on Ackley after it was clear Ackley wasn't going to catch up to the fastball. God, it's hard to win a game these days.
