I like seeing Young hitting 8th.  He's a rally killer in the 2 spot

Definitely.  I was really hoping to see Wells instead of Young tonight.  I get why, but fresh blood with something to prove sometimes helps.

I hope he proves me wrong and I know its been a small sample, but I have NO confidence in Young right now.

They need to take advantage of these situations in a cold game like this...

Nice eye, Smith.

Aceves is the opposite of Colon out there.  Bartolo has 29 inning walkess streak going.

Looks like the A's passed on their curse of crappiness to the Red Sox.  That makes me happy.

He was balking quite a bit early in the inning - he cannot hold still.

Ok, I've been quiet about CY so far, but he has been truly horrible. He has been bad at every aspect of the game, and doesn't even seem like he cares.

Re: Gameday 4/23: A's at Boston

By my quick research, Colon has the longest A's streak of consecutive innings without issuing a walk since the Eck in 1990-1991.
