Cain in a Yankee uniform would be AWESOME, but the Giants are one fo the few teams that could match the Yanks dollar for dollar, so that one wouldn't be easy.

Apparently in this day of revenue sharing and generally more investment into the minors, teams aren't willing to let their free agents go that easily, i'd be surprised if half of those pitchers in bold that didn't have club options were signed to an extension.

Wil Nieves has announced a willingness to return to the Yankees. I think we should be NOW to get him...crazy

You know, to beat the rush...

By then, hopefully another "MONTERO" will be entrenched at C for the Yanks!

Why do I think that no matter how great Jered does until then, there's no way the Yanks are interested in another "WEAVER!"

I think CJ Wilson is a FA this winter.........am I wrong about that?

There are some pitchers there that our "traders" have wanted to trade talent for.......why not wait and pick them up as FA's, rather than spending treasure in both players and money?  Makes sense to me.......

edit:  Oh dang.........after the 2012 season..........as you were.........
