I'd like to see a bit of an offensive assault tonight, led by Morales and co.

Kris Johnson looking a bit like Walter Johnson (eek) early.  We tagged House pretty good, but nothing to show for it.

About effing time Hammer. Now if everyone else can start hitting (I'm looking at you Mr. 23 Million), and can get healthy and not worry about their injured vajayjay (you again 23 mil), and the pitching can come around and we can string together some nice winning streaks...we may have a shot at this.

another classic example of why pitchers W-L records are mostly meaningless....Fien comes in to hold the fort in the 8th...and fails. Then he gets credit for the 'W' when Willingham homers in the bottom of the inning. Fien gets 'rewarded' statistically for failing to do his job.

Yes, true.

But, it'd be easy to judge Fien over this game (and that failed save in Boston) and call him out.  However, what''d be forgotten would be the fact that the guy has been pretty darn good for us.  Combine that with the fact that no one hurt more after giving that run up in the 8th than Casey Fien and you can feel for the guy.

It was awesome to see Willingham pick him up with the homer and great to see Perk nail down the win without any further drama.

Let's get 'em tonight!
