Not exactly the best of starts for Kris Johnson, but Deduno has done well in the long-relief role tonight.   We'll see what happens, but it isn't looking good.

Twins definitely left their 'A' game in Seattle. Disappointed that Johnson wasn't very good at all. He'll probably exchange with Pino again during the break. The Red Wings staff is in total flux right now and the team looks dead....maybe a good time for a few days off.

Pino and Deduno have performed well.  They've put Deduno on such a short leash with regard to starting.  I don't get it.  It puts added pressure when he's starting that I think he changes his mind set probably trying to aim it.  When he comes in as a mop up guy, there's very little pressure.  Let the guy know he's got 5-6 starts before they decide to remove him from the rotation.  If they treated everyone else like that, Nolasco, Correia and Gibson would have been in and out of the rotation too.  It's time for these coaches to go.  They're real clowns.  Hardly any real plan on putting together this team.  It reminds me of a poorly run business.  You've got to have a plan and stick to it.

So far, the Twins are rebounding nicely after yesterday's stinker. 4-0 Twins in the 4th.

Twins win it 9-3.  Correia pitched 6 strong innings (7 hits 1 run) and even helped his own cause out a bit by doubling in a run!   It sure would be nice to see them head into the All-Star break on a high note.

Agreed.

Honestly, why not afford the same opportunity to Deduno as what you gave to a guy like Pelfrey?  REAL poor and shooting Pino down should only be temporary - the guy deserves a longer look.

Nice to go out on a positive note before the All-Star Break.  Hughes benefited from a bit of another onslaught led by Brian Dozier.  Nice to see our old friend, Justin Morneau, enjoying the game again.

TWINS WIN!
