twins vs Yankees

OK Twins---Yanks are scuffling right now. they can be them continue their pain and remember the clarion call: whenever the Yankees lose, an angel gets his wings.
Would be nice if the Twins could get to the ASG no worse than 3 or 4 under .500. I would consider that a major success story in 2013. They are stuck in a rut right now...

Beat the Payroll!!!!

Game was over the minute Burton threw that pick off attempt away.

RE: twins vs Yankees

Yech--would appear the reason the Twins are under .500 is Jared Burton...who is having a perfectly miserable season... 1-6, 5 blown saves, 4.29 ERA and a recent string of simply terrible outings. Last night 1/3 of an inning, 3 hits, 3 runs and a crucial error. He was a trainwreck.
So, what does Gardy have against Caleb Thielbar? 8th inning, one run lead...why not use a guy who has yet to allow a run? Has Thielbar told him...hey skip, never put me in when the game is on the line??
Twins gave this one away. Duensing put the icing on the cake with a similarly awful performance.

Twins are finally appearing to be letting the season go.
Pelfry rehabbing in the lower minors.

The Who-Goes Sweepstakes: Thomas was hitless and Parmelee had 2 hits and a HR. Both clearly trying to save their jobs when Hicks and/or Ramirez return. Hicks' rehab in Rochester has been dismal folks. He has been no better here than up there. Small sample size so far, but not real encouraging. I see no rush to return him.
