Man Arcia has been hitting really good lately. Gotta feeling he will NOT be going down to Rochester.

You know, all Oswaldo Arcia has done is take great swings!  Dude just is ready to hit when he gets up there, isn't he?  Also, he seems to have had a positive effect on Aaron Hicks, who now doesn't look so damned lost at the plate...

Happy Birthday, Oswaldo!  biggrin

Duensing comes in and does a great job picking up Correia.  I was really thinking Gardy was going to leave his starter in there to try to finish the 6th, but it was obvious he was getting his pitches up (and quite honestly, had he been left in there, I would not have been surprised to see the game tied up).

Correia was in the 90s..maybe lower 100s. Good thing he was pulled. Nice job by Duensing.

Escobar with an error that could have gotten us out of the inning. Hope it doesn't come back to bite us.

Nice work by Jared Burton to pick up Eduardo Escobar, who muffed the double-play ball.

Perkins on to try to close this thing out...

Nice little series in Beantown for our boys. 3 wins in Fenway ain't bad.

Back home vs. the O's this weekend

3 wins out east is fantastic. We usually suck on the east coast. Hopefully we can have the same success when we go to New York.

I wonder when we last won a series there.  Nice job.

and over .500 again...who'd a thunk it? Arcia will not be going back to Rochester. If they send him back now, they're nuts. He got an opportunity and he grabbed it. I think Hicks or Parmelee are at greater risk at this point. Series with the O's should be interesting. O's, Sox, and Payroll all tied for first.

The only question coming out of Boston is the health of Pedro Florimon, who injured his hamstring on that late inning bunt attempt.
