Goal Line Offense

Goal Line Offense

Just for fun, what if we wanted to look like the Tigers.  All power, little glove.

CF - Aaron Hicks
C - Joe Mauer
3B - Justin Morneau
LF - Josh Willinham
1B - Chris Parmalee
DH - Ryan Doumit
SS - Trevor Plouffe
RF - Oswaldo Arcia
2B - Dozier/Mastroianni/Carroll

Ok, couldn't find a big second baseman, maybe Rosario would be ready.

LOL, I kind of like this lineup but we might need to close our eyes when the other team bats.

Considering that might not be much of a difference form last year, I wouldn't mind it.
Meyer and May will be top of the rotation starters by 2015.

The sad thing is most of those guys don't have much power, or haven't proven to use it consistantly yet.

On a more serious note, has Morneau ever played third base?  Anyone know?

We need to find a place for Parmalee and right field isn't a good one.  Putting him in right might be as bad as placing Morneau at third.  I'd love to see how Morney does over there.

And then move Plouffe to right? I could see that happening, assuming Morneau can play third.

No and he'll never, ever play third base.

Winter is the time to dream, no doubt and fun to contemplate things, but this will never happen.
