Re: 5/15-5/17: LA Dodgers @ Florida Marlins
Well that didn't take too long... pierre single..out stolen base (3b)..sac fly..1-0..dodgers.
Miller having a tough time finding strike zone..in first inning..14 balls in 24 pitches..oopps either walks..ethier just stole 2nd base..now martin walks..
maybe loney wil walk andKemp will continue his perfect batting against Miller?

1 Run, 1 Hit, 2 walks 30 pitches by Miller in the 1st

Re: 5/15-5/17: LA Dodgers @ Florida Marlins
I found that half-inning to be utterly dissatisfying, despite making Miller throw 30 pitches and come out with another 1st inning score.
I feel like LA should have 2 or 3 runs instead of just 1.

Re: 5/15-5/17: LA Dodgers @ Florida Marlins
I don't think so... it's not like Milton was injured or anything.
The real challenge for Milton will be his 2nd and 3rd time through the order. Same with Andrew Miller. Though, the Marlin lineup is still young so he might be able to get by. But, in the long run, it will be about how Milton stays ahead of the adjustments against experienced batters.

No clue why Ross not walked there.
Pierre keeps up his hot hitting. Nice to see Juan picking up the Manny slack. Raffy needs to do something decent and score Juan.

Re: 5/15-5/17: LA Dodgers @ Florida Marlins
Well he scored Juan... I'd like for him to get on base a bit more, though.
I'm perplexed by his lack of steals. Could there be a hidden injury that we don't know about? I mean, Martin's almost run as many times as Raffy.

I'm also thinking Raffy is nursing something (hopefull) relatively minor. He is certainly struggling at the plate, and not getting on base as he usually does. When he is on base he just doesn't look like a guy looking to steal bases, though at least for now the rest of the league is still respecting his presence.

Well, it looks like the Dodgers could pick up another game on the Pee-Wees, unless the the Giants rally in the bottom of the ninth because they trail right now 9-6!

Big inning here for Milton, fifth inning, meat of the order coming up, get us through this inning then hand it over to the pen, meaning anyone except Mota! My bad, didn't know Weaver was taking over, thought Milton would go out for the fifth inning!

Master "P"ierre must feel pretty good about himself when he walks up to home plate and looks up at the scoreboard and sees his average at .412, strutting like a proud peacock!

We need at least two runs. the last thing this BP needs is extra innings.
Man, Kershaw tomorrow. The bullpen is already leading the league in innings pitched. Strange, I would think for a first place, best record club. Come September there will be alot of tired arms, or new names.
