^^^ I agree. If he would hit just a little I would give him a pass. Hope we go and get a good C next year.. I'm sure Ellis is a nice guy but ready for someone else.

let's hope Kershaw stops the bleeding tomorrow..
with the silent bats he'll need to pitch lights out with a
complete game shutout

Puig has to feel like a dumbass. Good to see Pujols make fun of him, wish he would just play and stop trying to show everyone up. Just looks like a fool.

Carlos Frias looked better last night than Perez did all year...See Ned, you do not need to hand out millions to a RP, call up a couple more arms please.

Re: Angels vs Dodgers 8/4 thru 8/7

Frias was a starter in AAA with a 5.10 ERA. That's why Zach Lee's 5.22 is not such a big concern. All the Albuquerque starters have an ERA over 5 including Red Patterson. If you look at the Isotope's pitching stats it is clear that Zach Lee is there best starter except for maybe Jeff Bennet who is like 30 something. I think Lee is probably nibbling too much so his walks are up and his Ks are down. I think that is a direct result of an environment where mistakes get hit a long way. That is why some of the Dodger's pitching prospects have skipped AAA.

if you want to look at prospects..Reed, Frias and Lee and their differences and what role they could play..check prospect section.

The large salaries for Dodgers who do not contribute to hitting.  Their salaries could be used to obtain those baseball players that can contribute.  Can you spell albatross?  I beginning to wonder about professional sports.

I am hoping Clayton wins one tonight for the team. The way the Dodgers always fold against the Angels, I would be surprised if the Dodgers win more than one of the four games.

This is just a pathetic joke....there is no way we will be able to compete with teams like the A's or Angels if we make it as far as the WS....our Aces are getting killed.....cant wait and see what happens when Haren is pitching.
