Dodgers and Times Warner Reportedly Agree to New TV Deal

According to Jon Weisman, it looks like the Dodgers are going to be doing the same thing that the Lakers did. They won't have the guaranteed revenue that they would if they signed with Fox Sports, but with having ownership in the channel the potential revenue could be much more.

Bill Shaikin of the LA Times has reported the deal could be worth as much as $7 or $8 Billion, now I assume that is over 25 years, even though the standard is usually 20.

Does this deal apply to this year? I have DISH, which doesn't have a deal with TWC. Sucks not being able to watch Laker games, as well.

If DirecTV carries this, those games will be made a part of the MLB Package which I will not buy.
I wish I could simply buy this channel and view it, instead of getting stuck with all of the other teams.
