Really sh*tty movies

Really sh*tty movies

This just popped into my head for some reason.

When I was in 8th grade, the movie First Night came out.  I remember being excited for the movie, as I'm a dork and though "Sean Connery playing King Arthur?  Hellz yeah!"

That movie was beyond horrible.  Sean Connery played a gaping vag who was cuckolded by a hobo.  They made Lancelot a f'ing hobo.

I mean, I guess if they were going to make him homeless, a hobo isn't that bad, what with the Hobo Code and all.

Another was Troy.  Forget the fact that they ruined the plot of one of the great works of literature, but what was with the accents?  I get that most of the actors were british, but why did the non brits talk in half assed british accents?  That wasn't necessary at all.  No one alive today has heard ancient greek, but I assure you it didn't sound like Brad Pitt's quasi-british accent.  Just speak normally, viewers get it.

That piece of sh*t really ruined a good opportunity with a pretty good cast.

Also, the Thin Red Line.  Most boring war movie ever.  I am convinced that anyone who tells you how awesome it is, really doesn't want to admit that they fell asleep watching it, lest people think them stupid.

I'd like to hear some of your thoughts on random crappy movies.

You're new, but we might be soulmates.

On the count of three, name your favorite dinosaur...

Never saw or even remember hearing about "Fright Night," but Troy and the Thin Red Line are two of the worst movies I've ever seen.

Actually, I can't even claim that I've exactly "seen" them, because I left the theater early on both occasions. And I've only done that on a handful of occasions, and those are the only two movies I ever did so after entering with high expectations.

It is my opinion that The Thin Red Line is, without a doubt, the most overrated movie of all time. What a piece of sh*t that was! Good lord.

Stupid science bitch couldn't even make I more smarter!

VELOCIRAPTOR!!!

I am pretty dreamy.

Continuing with the Thin Red Line, Sean Penn is overrated as hell.  His best role was Spicoli.

There are far more sh*tty movies than good ones. We could go on and on.

What we need is for Spring Training to start, and we can have our lives back...

I watched Tree of Life, which is directed by Terrence Malock who did The Thin Red Line and it also starred Sean Penn. I reflexively and audibly groaned at certain parts of the movie, that's how bad it was.

Any of the Jaws sequels. They were all pretty terrible. The one with Michael Cain was the worst movie ever.

I agree totally on The Thin Red Line. I didn't make it all the way through that one. Troy was crappy. I did watch it all the way through, but it was a butchering of Homers the Iliad.

I really liked District 9 though, didn't expect to. I got dragged to that one in the theater and wound up liking it. Same with En Bruges.

Con-Air has basically evolved into a comedy. I love watching it.

I'll watch Face Off every time it's on, too.

Face-off truly defines how bad Nicholas Cage can be in a movie.  Some may say Con-Air, with Cage's weird "southern" accent, but Face-off takes the horrible Cage movie cake.

Nick Cage takes the prize for my worst movie ever. Knowing. Damn that is a horrible movie. I raged about it for a month.

Nic Cage's accent alone is worth watching Con-Air.
