Pina's defensive is probably higher than major league average right now. But if he was going to have a breakout year offensively, you would have expected it to be last year. In a hitters league and a hitters park he did nothing to show he can be an offensive threat.
I'm hopeful Perez's bat catches up to his glove this year. I've read good things about David this winter and have seen the Royal's comments on him. If Bonilla can rebound from an horrendous season we could finally have some catching depth.
