Hughes doesn't walk anybody so he lives in the zone which plays into the Royals's hands. Lots of singles coming for the Royals tonight.

Stealing one from Vince Lombardi.

If you want a smart team. Get rid of the dumb players.

I really beleive Need has taken this team as far as he can, and youd see significant improvement under a new manager... Look what Showwalter has done with the o's. They have made some moves, but a lot o the guys on the team the last 2-3 years were there on the bad teams... There are a ffew other examples as well.

The Royals really need to think about doing something they have never done before. Really invest in your big league coaching staff.you have a good roster. its an attractive job now. Go out and treat it as such

If Ned was a women's softball coach he would have been fired for that statement.

who can you realistically get, though?  All the large market teams are able to pay for quality managers and won't let them go.

Wouldnt be my first choice but Charlie Manuel openly said last winter hed be interested if the job came open. Again hes not my first choice, but thats a guy with a winning track recored who 10 years ago wouldnt of picked up the phone if the Royals called.

Olney tweeted last year that he spoke to a rival manager that said about the Royals "I love my team, but I wish I could manage that team". If Glass is willing to up the manaer salary from what he traditionally has paid you might be surprised who listens.

I'd be down but you may have answered your own question to us not getting one by stating "If Glass is willing to up the manager salary..."

agreed, money talks.  Just not sold Glass would be willing to spend.

DM just gave Yost a two-year extension, there's no way he cans him mid-season with the team over .500.  Horrible decision, but then again he's been making lousy decisions for eight years now.

That's okay....no one expects their #3 and #4 hitters to drive in runs.

Look up "Easy Inning" in the dictionary and you see the Royal's team logo.
