Crypt keeper - I'm obsessed with winning!

“I don’t know if it’s more intense. Your expectation levels increase. If you don’t have a very good team that you run out there, and you recognize that they’re not a very good team, then you don’t really expect to win every night."

"The one thing I’ve learned about Ned and Dayton both is they are as obsessed with winning as I am. All three of us have a real problem when we lose. Anyone who knows me knows that I’m not just committed to winning, I’m obsessed with winning." -David Glass

Actually, it makes perfect sense to me. An object of obsession is often something difficult to acquire or is even forbidden. When you get something all the time, you take it for granted.

I find it laughable Glass said that he was obsessed with winning. Unless he believes making 20 million dollars a year winning. I suppose that counts.

He needs to put his money where his mouth is and prove it and give Dayton the ok to go after a real power bat, a real run producer that would require taking on some salary but not an albatross that would handcuff the organization and that guy for me is Adrienne Beltre.

He usually tells people he's obsessed with winning during Spring Training, so no, it's totally different.
