No Gordon again...Yost must be creaming himself with Dyson AND Taveras in the same lineup.

It seems like they're taking a hard look at Taveras so far

Who knows how the final 25 will shake out but you have to figure that Lough,Tavares,Nady, and Tejada will make it so eventually all of them will get good looks.

I love me some David Lough.  He is an ideal 4th OF.  Would you bet even $10 that Cain will play more than 81 games this year?  No way.  I think Lough will be a fine OF and if given the opportunity could easily be a David DeJesus Light for us for the next several years.

I think we will need more OF than IF this year and that could suck. I think with the loser of Getotella at 2nd in Omaha and Johnson as the utility can cover the IF pretty solid with the exception of if Moose goes down for extended time...but then we would be screwed anyway. I don't have confidence in Cain staying healthy or till proven wrong I don't trust Frenchy bouncing back. I don't know who will win out between Lough, Tavares, or Nady but one have a chance to see some time as the 5th OF.

That's pretty light.

Yes.  I think they signed him to beat out Dyson if he could.  DM seems to always have wanted Taveras.

I'd bet $10 bucks..  Cain hasn't had much of a history of injury before last year. It's possible that at the age of 25/26, he suddenly became injury prone, but it's just as possible (and probably more than likely) he'll revert back to the "play every day player" he use to be in the minors.

Only one of those projects to make the 25 man. And Dyson is a lock. So how do you figure we'd carry 3 more bench outfielders?
