I was thinking we did one of these already. Anyway, my guess is 78-84.

RE: Official Royals Win Loss Record Prediction Thread
79-83 (Too many "If this guy can play to his ability" questions)
That will be enough of an improvement for Glass and a majority of the fan base. Dayton keeps his job going into 2014, which is the last year of his contract.
I think we did one of these too and I added like three wins to my prediction. I'm fickle.

Re: Official Royals Win Loss Record Prediction Thread
84
7 games back of the Tigers and 5 back of the nearest wild card for a disappointing finish, but it will be nice to at least win for a change.

83-79. Attendance at Kauffman eclipses 2 million for the first time since 1991. Fun, exciting year for the most part, but we fall short.

RE: Official Royals Win Loss Record Prediction Thread
Since it's February, I'm going to shoot high knowing I'll be disappointed. 87-75 with Royals in contention until end of September. Reasons to be optimistic: 1, The rotation is better than in the past and Shields is legit at the top of rotation. 2. Santana playing for a FA contract will motivation and spur him to his ceiling. 3. KC bullpen continues to improve with the hard throwers finding their stride. 4. Hosmer, Escobar, Perez and Moustakas have matured another year. 5. Dayton is on the hot seat so instead of standing pat and watching the season go down the tubes, he'll be active in trying to help team win instead of playing for the farm system. 6 KC has some pitching talent that could help by end of year if they develop - Lamb, Ventura, Dwyer and maybe even Zimmer. 7. Ned really believes Luke will turn the corner Reasons to be realistic: Well, it's the Royals. 'Nuff said. Why be pessimistic in February? Let's wait until late April

89-73 Just miss the playoffs or possibly sneak in with an early exit, but Royals fever runs rampant looking toward 2014.

86-76 nd just miss the second wild card spot. Will keep the heat on Detroit all year and just slide past WSox to finish second. Get there with a fast start and big year from Buter and Shields.
