I was warned....
I should have learned my lesson after the ridiculous Sporting News article we panned last week.....the SN preview has Jarrod Dyson starting in center, with Cain on the bench. Team snapshot has our IF defense as 5th in division and bullpen at 2. Perhaps arguable, but that's putting heavy down checks to 2b and 1b. Frankly as long as 1b can save errors on throws he doesn't have to be that good range wise. Maybe they suspect Cain will be injured :p
They do have Royals at 2 overall in division......

RE: I was warned....
Why anyone would look at the Sporting News for in depth Baseball analysis is beyond me, and I said that in the last thread too.
Generic sports organizations usually don't do a thorough job analyzing a specific sport, at least for the informed fan. I figure the reasons for this are obvious.
If your'e gonna read the articles, just keep the expectations low.

It's their magazine preview....the sporting news used to actually offer some good analysis, but alas their quality control has hit the dumpster......

Haha. Indeed. However interwebs was actually invented by DARPA, via ARPANET, not Gore. But I'm sure you knew that... --------------------------------------------- --- guit145 wrote: kerg01 wrote: It's their magazine preview....the sporting news used to actually offer some good analysis, but alas their quality control has hit the dumpster......

Al Gore invented ARPANET. It was during his days with the DoD. He went by the codename "Agent Orange". kerg01 wrote: Haha. Indeed. However interwebs was actually invented by DARPA, via ARPANET, not Gore. But I'm sure you knew that...
