Interesting read, but really? There were way too many words.

Most of the players have already been linked and/or busted for known PED use: A-Rod, Melky, Bartolo Colon, Yasmani Grandal. Gio Gonzalaz and Nelson Cruz are newly linked, though.

If they find proof that the guy is telling the truth, they can be suspended whether they pass a drug test or not. Very interesting.

I'm not going to name names, but a certain Royals player lives in Miami and works out with ARod. I'm not saying his name will be surface (I actually don't think it will), but if it does, I wouldn't be floored by it.

Another black eye for baseball especially coming of the HOF debates. Bud is so proud of the wonderful job baseball has done in "cleaning up" the sport (as if they were co-conspirators in the 90's). One of the big questions for me is this: Grandal got busted for 50 games. But why hasn't the elite, drug testing gotten any of these others dudes if what we read is true? I have no reason to think it isn't true either.
Another case of the criminals always being one step ahead of law enforcement?
For KC's sake, I hope Hosmer was smart enough to know he has the talent without using that junk. As the HOF voting proved, tainted reputation ruins on the field accomplishments whether you did it or not. The Royals and their hungry fans need Eric to be a superstar, not distracted with rumors of drug use and all the crap that goes with it.

Melky and Colon were both busted for 50 games, too.

Hosmer sucked last year, so, regardless he needs to stay away from Afraud.

Melky and Colon were both busted for 50 games, too. How could I have forgotten about the batting champ and Colon? I remember the year that Grandal was drafted that he was on KC's radar. As I recall, I really thought the Royals would go with him. So, what will MLB's next step be with investigation? They have the experience in working this type of allegation with the real BALCO. I'm sure the big chiefs in NY are just crapping the bed right now wondering what to do. Stuff like this just doesn't go away either because the media loves this type of controversy especially with ARod at the top of the list.

MLB has not tested for HGH in the past. If I recall, they are going to test for it in some capacity this year. The reports seem to indicate that the clinic in question was an anti-aging clinic so common sense would seem to indicate that HGH is the substance in question. I'm not an expert on MLB's testing protocol, but I don't get the impression that what they are doing is elite. Testing is great and all, but if all you're testing for is anabolic steroids that were popular in the 80s it shouldn't surprise anybody that athletes are finding other stuff to use.
