Well Holt is gone, and I guess at least Aviles can bunt if the need arises.

Here's hoping Tomlin can pitch his career average game

He is way off, this is not a good start.  Of course, anyone want to tell me how freaking Todd Frazier scores from 1st on a freaking double?!
OMFG that is pathetic, giving up a homer to Ramon Santiago?! bangheadbangheadbangheadbanghead
Solo Homers the team can live with, homer with runners on base? bangheadbangheadbanghead

Saw the freaking replay that scored Frazier, can someone please describe WTF happened on that play?  They only showed the back-end where the throw was going home to try to get Frazier but didn't show how the freaking ball got away.
This game has been a big joke from the start!

Tomlin is not be trusted...he's in McCallister territory. Love the guys heart, but if you're a team facing him it's obvious that you'll get plenty of cookies and you'll hit some bombs. When an insect like Santiago goes deep...Aye Carumba. Tomlin is wasting a golden opportunity given the condition of this rotation.

AAA pitchers against 4A hitters - always a bad matchup - let's score some runs now

Re: game 113 - same old, same old

Saw the replay of the throw-out of Brantley on his single, I could tell he thought the throw was too far off-line for Frazier to cut it off, and Frazier made a pretty athletic play to cut it off.
Unsure if it would have mattered but the big problem is grooving a stinking fastball to Santiago.banghead

I can't believe the Mariners traded Carlos Guillen for Santiago and a minor league stiff.  Of course Guillen somehow increased his OPS by 200 points just by moving ballparks, but still...ohlord

Recipe for comeback. Get five out of Tomlin and keep the Reds at four runs, then go to the WELL RESTED Carrasco.

Scratch and claw against Johnny Dreadlocks.

JRam with the first scratch.  Problem is Kipnis is clawless with runners on base.
Based on Gameday, Cueto doesn't seem to throw that hard, like rarely mid-90s?  Is that right?
For someone who has over a K/IP that kind of shocks me.
Kipnis down 1-2 trying to bunt.  Then takes a freaking third strike at the knees on the outside corner. banghead

Up to Aviles for some more magic, unfortunately the 8 ball says "Try again later".tongue

Sigh...and Aviles proves the 8 Ball has pre-cognitive abilities.

Well, the Aviles being a detriment in LF thought is validated for the first time, misplays a ball off the LC wall allowing Cozart to get a triple instead of being held to a double.  We will see if it costs us in the bigger scheme of things.

Sounds like it, he is up in the bullpen.  Knowing Francona he is going to use him to match up against a RHH or something like that.tongue
