My bad guys...it is the curse of the free game of the day. The Royals scored all their runs since I started watching on MLB AtBat.:-(

team is so very frustrating.. 3 out of 4 vs Det then the Minny debacle now this series.. really need to take the last 2 after having great chances to win the first 2.. then they jump out big tonight and now are down 2..

Kelvim Herrera was nasty. When even our hottest and best fastball hitter (Santana) couldn't get on top of his heater, you knew Dickerson and Swisher would have no chance. Good leadoff AB by Ramirez and single by Brantley off a lefty, but that just brought in Herrera. It's going to be awful tough sledding against this Royal bullpen now.

Zep looked really good that inning. It's a sellers market for southpaw relievers...he's a guy I would move if someone offered something of quality.

That last at bat by Swisher was people's evidence # 1 regarding what you've been ranting on regarding the corpse of Nick Swisher.  Ol' Brohio sure looked like he started his swing before Herrera released it; he had no chance.

The question is, since Brohio is such a team player, could you se him pulling a Travis Fryman and walk away from money when he feels he doesn't deserve it?  Nevermind, even Fryman wouldn't have walked away from the 30 MILLION FRIGGIN' DOLLARS Swisher's owed.

{chuckle}  The only thing that's going to keep that man smiling ear to ear is cashing those checks.  Ballplayers are accustomed to thinking they're being paid for past accomplishments, so they never feel guilty about taking money.  As far as Swish is concerned, the Tribe is merely paying him for what he gave the Yankees.  He couldn't care less that his salary is deep-sixing his current club.

After we rally and Allen pitches another perfect inning does he get a win and a save?

A good case can be made--and I worried about it last night--that Axford's bad pitch to Butler last night would have the effect of getting that guy going at just the wrong time for us. Butler only had four homers all year...now he's beaten us on consecutive nights with two-run bombs. Thanks, Ax! You've had a fabulous series!

Of course, I guess our so-called "offense" figured that scoring in only one inning was necessary to win a game...

I think it's time to use the rant forum. Yeah, it's time.

And now we're tied with TAMPA! Such a joke...THEY should be sellers and we should be buyers? Who's kidding whom?

This Royals series is teetering on the brink of being another series like the one two years ago where we came out of break and got swept by the Twins and the last two months of that season were the worst in recent memory.

As good as KC's bullpen is they are not making the playoffs either. When omar Infante leads your team in ribbies at 48 you suck.
