Game 76: Hot and Humid in B'more; Expect the Long Balls to Fly

Weather is conducive to lots of HRs tonight.  Not sure this bodes well for the Tribe.  But at least I have Chris Davis on my fantasy team.tongue

Heavy thunderstorms expected to roll through Baltimore around the dinner hour but should be over by gametime.

What time do you eat dinner in B'More?  Mine isn't until 7:00 local time!

I agree...home run weather and Jiminez is not a good combination.

What did I say, bad combo for Jiminez, home run weather and a home run hitting team. bangheadbangheadbanghead

Indians obviously have a horrible game plan for Britton, freaking three strikeouts called.  This is ridiculous.  It is obvious that the pitchers are pitching off-speed when it is a hitters count, and throwing fastballs when it is 2 strikes.  bangheadbangheadbanghead

Sigh...Jiminez having issues locating against Ishikawa...a horrifying sub .200 hitter. Sigh.

Lando, in case you don't actually read my posts, my posts are very concentrated on a game-to-game and at-bat-to-at-bat basis in the game thread.

I think Bourn should hit and run with Stubbs on base....
3B is close on the grass, the previous showing bunt will probably cause the 1Bman to move too...and the 2Bman will have to move to cover 1B and the SS will have to move to cover 2B...pretty much Bourn just can't hit it up the middle.

Well, that sure didn't help, @#$@%#@.
SIgh...up to Aviles.
Crap...Stubbs can't advance on a bad throw on his steal attempt.

We're facing a AAA pitcher.  What did you all expect?  Us to shell him? ha!

And you were right Lando, the single was worthless, although an extra base hit would have been just as worthless except if it was a homer.
Two freaking strikeouts in a row.bangheadbangheadbanghead

Britton already has more strikeouts (5) than he did in his 3 previous starts this year.  That makes me feel great.
